Our company has been owned and operated by Jack Mitchell since 1967. After graduating from East Carolina University, he went to work for International Harvester Company as a territory manager and helped greatly expand the farm equipment business. Opportunities were available to become a dealer, and eastern North Carolina was selected for the beginning of Mitchell Tractor & Equipment Co.
